We Started with the Square

We started with the Square because great neighborhoods are built around great community spaces. It’s the stage for our public lives, a family-friendly gathering place for movie nights, festivals and concerts, both spur-of-the moment and planned. Shops, restaurants, markets and offices will front the Square, offering more places to meet and mingle.

The Square is both a green space and a sense of place. It’s the neighborhood’s “front porch” where friends run into each other and families come together. (And it’s the first place we take visitors because we can’t wait to show it off!)

You and Johnson Square

Life here is all about connectivity and diversity. It’s decidedly non-suburban, with retail and offices sharing streets with a wide array of homes. Everything is approachable by design: front door to shop door is never longer than a five-minute walk.

Life here is all about community. Front porches are welcoming places to enjoy drinks with friends. Front doors open to pathways, parks and playgrounds that thoughtfully connect you to neighbors. Johnson Square is mindfully designed to bring people together.

Life here is a moving experience. Grab a stick, your best four-legged friend and spend a morning in the parks. Bikers and walkers can always find a path, some of which will connect to the Ozark Greenways Trail.

Life here is real. Expect grass stains on your jeans from rolling around with the kids in the parks. Hunting for crawdads in the pond can be muddy work, and street-versus-street soccer games might leave you a little winded.

The Heart of NWA

Life here is convenient. Centrally located in Johnson and within the Fayetteville School District, it’s a short commute to all the cities of Northwest Arkansas. Exit Johnson Square and you’re about a minute’s drive from I-49 with easy access to Rogers, Bentonville, Springdale and Fayetteville.  Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Dickson Street Entertainment District, the Bentonville Square and Arvest Ballpark are some of the nearby attractions.
